Happy St. Nick!

This year St. Nick filled our shoes with new stockings. Pinckney now has a "Dad" stocking and I have a "Mom" stocking!

As you can see Sugar wanted to help open the stockings.

2 Weeks and counting

Well 2 weeks from today Miss Lilly will be here. Today the people that Pinckney works with had a shower for us. It was so sweet, we got some great blankets and outfits, shoes (which I LOVE SHOES!!! hahah) and diapers, which we can never have enough of! hahha Here are the photos from today.

This is the cake they had made for us, it was SO good and I have left overs for after dinner!!!

These are the ladies at the office that organized the shower for us. Thank you ladies!!!

Some of the guys offered to give Pick a quick lesson on how to use these. haha He is going to know how to very quickly!! haha

Pinckney would not be complete without some camo for his little girl:). Here is a bib one of the guys had monogrammed for Lilly:)

As you can see....put a fork in me I am done!

She has really started digging her heals into my ribs.

We had a really good Doctors appointment this week. Last week she had her hand by her head, which babies can not fit through the birth canal with their arm up like that so if she did not move it we were going to have to schedule a c-section. This week Dr. Marks did a quick ultra sound and saw that she moved her hand!! She is already being very cooperative:). So now it is just a waiting game, all we know is that 2 weeks from today one way or another we will have a little girl. And I am officially ready for her to be here!!!

We are ready for Santa!

After we brought the tree home we got the house ready for Santa. :) Here are our Christmas Decorations.

Here is our tree and mantle. Lilly has her own stocking ready to be filled by Santa. And of course all 3 dogs have their stockings as well. Below is a photo of just the tree. :)

At the tree farm they also make wreaths, so we had to have one for our wall:). Below is the nativity set or my "figurines" as my husband calls them haha that I got last Christmas.

Here is my table decorations. Our table also serves as Pinckneys office these days so I can't set the table until Christmas but I can at least put a tree and fake snow on it. haha Below is an end table that has our department 57 Christmas chapel, some other trinkets and of course FAKE SNOW!! ahhah

O Christmas Tree O Christmas Tree....

Every year Pinckney and I go and cut down the perfect tree. So this year we went back to Motley Tree Farm to pick out the tree. The last couple of years we have picked a tree that was WAY to big for our house haha so this year we were determined to find out that would not require us to take out all of the furniture in the living room to make it fit. haha
Here is Pick trying to decide between a couple of trees after we narrowed it down.

And what is a tree farm without Goats!! While they were shaking out our tree and getting it ready for us we had to make a stop at their "farm zoo" and say hello to the baby goats. :)

Dzia Dzia comes to help...

Dzia Dzia (my dad) came in for the weekend and we put him right to work:).

First he hung the curtain...

Then he and Pinckney had to make sure the initials were perfectly aligned to hang...

Lastly, after much debate on the perfect place Pick hung the last thing we had to hang. Mi Mi (my mom) gave Lilly this plaque that has a B and a baby on it, and says " twinkle twinkle in your eyes, are you an angel in disguise. " So sweet!

As you can see this room is FULL of pink and some green! haha

"your colors are pink and pink..."

Here are the photos of Lilly's Nursery. I tried to put an explanation for everything that is in the room. We still have some wall space that needs filling but as for now we are ready for her to come home whenever she is ready:).
Hope you like her room, we are really enjoying just going in and sitting in the rocker. It is hard to believe in less then 4 weeks there will be a baby to fill this room!

Before Lilly is big enough to fit into her crib she will be sleeping in this bassinet.
The is one of my favorite gifts we have received. It is on wheels so anywhere we go around the house she will have a place to lay her head. :)

Here is Lilly's crib. We found the Pottery Barn bedding on EBAY!! She has a couple of dolls and a build a bear that Picnkney and I made for her the day before we found out if she was going to be a she or a he. :)

Above is Lilly's changing table. Above the pearl initials is a quote on the wall that is hard to read but it says "I see the moon and the moon sees me. God bless the moon and
God bless me" The shelves on the table are filled with diapers, bath towels,
extra pacifiers, blankets...well you get the picture. hahah

Here is the window in Lilly's room. You can see the green rocker we had made and her nightstand.

This is the tall dresser that is full of her little clothes:). On top of the dresser are her books, and some sweet jars that say Princess. To the left you will see a ribbon hanger that Mi Mi made full of hair bows in case she has hair. haha To the right is the light plate that says sweet dreams all over it. :)

4 Weeks to Go!!!

Here I am 8 months preggo:). A little swollen today but you get the point haha. Once a month we have dinner club where a few of us girls go out to dinner, so I was about to leave for dinner when Pick took a quick photo of me in Lilly's room. I am looking forward to getting out of the house for a little while. :)

Once I get the nursery more done I will post photos of that.

THE CAR SEAT IS IN!!

Well last night we put the car seat into my Yukon! The baby mobile is ready HA! Pick took a photo of me with the car seat and the double chin was WAY to bad to share! HA HA! So for now all you get is a photo of the seat but I will get some updated photos of us up soon. :)
We had a Doctors appointment on Monday (we go every Monday) and it went really well! I am still 50% effaced, which means since I have been home she has slowed down. It looks like getting off of my feet is doing the trick. She may wait awhile before coming to meet us!! YEEAAAHH!!
Oh yeah, a few of you have asked where we are registered: Pottery Barn Kids, Target and Babies R Us.

Here she is at 17 Weeks

For some reason these photos are flipped the wrong way! haha We will just have to make due anyway:) They are a bit fuzzy because of the way I transfered them onto my computer, but I think you can still see her leg, foot, hand, and body:). Enjoy.

Here is her Leg...

Here is her foot ...

This is her hand - she is waving at you:)

AND THIS IS HER!! :)

We were so shocked when they told us that it was a girl. As you can see from my first posting we were just sure she was going to be a boy. All I could say was "you have GOT to be kidding me!" Pinckney had already bought boy clothes! haha I am SO excited I get to put her in dresses and take her shopping!!! hahah Pinckney is so thrilled as well that we are having a little girl.
We decided not to do the 4D ultrasound so this is the best photo we have of her until we meet her in the hospital.
