Rain rain go away!

We have been having bad storms the past few nights so there has been little sleeping going on! Here are a couple of the kids on the couch tonight waiting to see if we were going to have to take cover:).

Happy Easter 2011

The Easter bunny came and left lots of goodies for us this year! The kids had a lot of fun going through their baskets, hunting eggs, going to play at church and having lunch with their cousins. It was a great day over all.

They were pretty excited about their new shades...

And Lilly got a new necklace:)

Oh no!

Before watching this video you need a little back ground- There are a couple of songs we sing a lot - the first is oh happy day, and the second is Jesus loves me. One of the kids favorite movies is lady and the tramp. Well today we realize Lilly is mixing all three of these together to form the song she is singing here, and sadly all you can understand is "she's a tramp" and "JESUS"... Probably not the best lyrics for a children's movie! I can hear the principal's office calling "uuuuummmm Mrs. Bethell, we are really happy Lilly loves to sing but..."

New House

At the end of this month, god willing:), we are set to close on a new house. We were lucky enough to sell our house in a day so everything seems to be falling into place. The new house sits on 3 acres and is currently being built...

Date night

Tonight Lilly and Pinckney had a date night. He took her to princesses on ice and she has been so excited all day! Pick has been out of town this week so she knew he was coming hone and they were going to see the princesses. The first thing she said when she woke up this morning was - I am so happy Lilly is going to see Cinderella I want to hug daddy. Haha all day she has been naming everyone that she was going to see it has been pretty funny. So tonight finally came and she wanted to wear her princess dress:).








We were laughing before they left because all dances and get wedding just flashed before us. Haha

Clinton Library Egg Roll

Today we spend the morning at the Clinton Library Easter Egg hunt. We had SO much fun so get ready for picture overload haha.

I made the kids matching shirts for the easter season:) but it was really cold this morning so we had to wear long sleeves under them. We started the event by hunting easter eggs. Each egg was filled with a little toy.

After getting all the eggs we headed to the petting zoo...

Then we were off to meet the Easter bunny, dance, meet some firemen, and see the Dr. Seuss exhibit.

The kids had so much fun dancing!!

Then we sat in the fire truck...

Biggie really loved being in the fire truck, he actually climbed in and I had to crawl in there to get him out! haha

We had to do some more dancing...

All of the activities made the kids really tired! As you can see both of mine were taking a little timeout for some rest haha.

Our last stop was to see some green eggs and ham.
