Naptime

I talk a lot about how the kids will yell back and forth to each other. Usually Lilly will yell things to Bigs and he will sometimes respond back. Today they were in their rooms - suppose to be napping and I heard yelling, so when I came out of my room I hear this...

And neither of them took a nap today.

The Bob

We laugh because Biggie has had more hair cuts then any of us! Yesterday I went to get my hair cut and while talking to the girl cutting my hair we decided to cut Lilly's hair as well. She suggested "the bob." haha
Lilly loved having her hair done! It looks like I might need to get one of these round brushes for her hair:).
And after we got our hair cut we went to lunch.

Big Sister

Lilly is really coming into the roll of being the big sister. I think if Biggie were a newborn Lilly would be a great helper! Even though he is not a newborn, she is taking it upon herself to lend a hand. :)
To see what is going on outside...
If he needs help eating...
(don't you love how her mouth is open too! haha)
Or if he needs a dance partner...
If he needs a hug...
Or if it looks like he should be pulled down to the ground, who would you call? Your big sister of course! haha

Piggy Tails

Lilly's hair is finally long enough to put in piggy tails! It looked too cute not to share.
Biggie wanted to show off his new shoes as well:).

Blackbird

I am sorry this video is sideways but I thought it was pretty cute and I wanted to share it anyway:). The kids love to dance so the other day while playing in the kitchen I decided to video this to share.

Getting Out

Recently we have been spending a lot of time getting our house ready sell. This has included a few trips to Lowe's. When we went into the store I had no idea how much fun that store could be for our kids!
After all that fun on the riding lawn mowers, Lilly found a patio set just her size.
We did take a break to take Lilly to Dance.
While Lilly is in her dance class, Biggie and his friends play.
Today the kids and I went to lunch at Panera. They were so good we had a great lunch date:).
Biggie spent most of lunch facing this way, I finally looked to see who he had been looking at, smiling at and waving too and it was a little girl in a high chair 2 booths down from us! haha I think we are in trouble!
After lunch we went to do a little shoe shopping, Lilly picked out a pair of gold glitter extremely high heals. They proved to be a bit to high for her HA!
One thing all of these outings have in common is - they are ready for nap time by the time we are on our way home!

Biggie Boy

Poor Biggie has so many nicknames and he just goes along with all of it!
John is the sweetest little man. He is so sweet to the dogs, his sister, and everyone around him. He sucks his thumb and loves to play with his scout dog. He will not sleep without his blanket, he rubs on the tags while sucking his thumb until he falls asleep. He just stopped falling asleep with a bottle, he didn't put up a fight at all, it was a great transition.
John and Hayden have become great friends! Whenever they see each other they hug and kiss. Hayden calls him Biggie and they are already watching out for each other.
Biggie is really starting talk. For awhile he has said "Hi Sissy," the other day the dogs were starting to bark and he walked over and said "HUSH" it was so funny! He kept saying it over and over. He will take his finger and point it and say "no, no, no." He says "night night," every now and again I swear I hear "thank you" haha he says "more." He also says "yes." And if you ask him if he wants something he nods his head yes. He also says "MaMa" and "Da Da"
John loves to kiss. He will snuggle up to you and give the best kisses! Recently Pinckney described him as a Raccoon because he gets into everything. He is so curious and if he sees you with a phone he will grunt because he wants it. He will hold it up to his ear and say "heawow" (suppose to be hello but when he says it I have to laugh! ) Actually him and Lilly make almost anything a phone, this morning they had a clothing tag up to their ear and were fighting over who got to "talk."

The Princess and her ponytail

The kids have now been sick for over 6 weeks! So what else is there to do when you can't really leave the house or play with the other kids? Dress up, paint our nails and play with our hair! I could not believe that Lilly's hair would go in a ponytail as well as it did. She is growing up so fast!!
Lilly has all kinds of funny saying now. When you ask her if she wants to do something instead of saying "yes" she says "you sure did" OR when I get her up from a nap she will pet my hair and say "ooooh pretty hair mom" "pretty new hair". She looked at John yesterday and said "come on sweetie" "you are a cuttttiiiiieeee pie." She calls John - Biggie Boy, Biggie John, Johnny boy, Sweetie pie, Bigs, Biggie, and every now and again he actually gets called John HA! She calls Yogurt "sugar." When she wakes up in the morning the first thing out of her mouth is "Daddy home?" And if I give her lots of kisses she giggles and says "those are Daddys kisses." She is a Daddy's girl!
When she is in the bathtub she will line up all the cups, fill them with water then pretend to paint my nails, then biggie pretends to paint my face. So by the end of bath time I look like I have been in the bath as well!
She wants cookies for every meal and pretends it is someone's birthday everyday.
To say she loves to dance is an understatement. This child asks for music from breakfast till bedtime. She will start a toy that plays music and he and biggie dance all over the room. They even try to get the dogs to dance!
She is growing so fast and now that she is talking life is crazy!
She even dressed bigs up in the Belle costume. Don't worry this came off very quickly! haha

Update

Well things have been a little crazy around here lately and we haven't spent much time on the computer - so I am trying to update the blog and catch up on emails over the next couple of days. The kids are just now getting better from having RSV- they were sick for a month and it was miserable for everyone!

Every morning I enjoy a cup of coffee while the kids have their breakfast. The other day I walked away from the table and when I returned Lilly was enjoying her morning cup of coffee as well! She used her princess tea set and filled the cup with my coffee!! I quickly explained that she has water when mommies have coffee hahah.
I think it time to get Biggie is own vehicle!
Here is Lilly's Valentines day outfit.
Bigs is getting so big! He looks like such a little man!!
I think he would make a GREAT doctor!
And Lilly is always in style!
