Let it Snow....

We woke up this morning to a winter wonderland! You would not believe how much snow we have, and it just kept dumping more and more on us. This morning we took Lilly and Big Love out to play in the snow, Lilly had a great time and really liked eating the snow but Big Love hated it! Once that cold snow hit his face he was MAD! haha but he stayed out there long enough for us to get a few pics of them outside and for Lilly to eat her share of snow.

For Lilly's birthday MiMi and Dzia Dzia gave her a red rider wagon. Pinckney took her for her first ride in it today around the yard and she loved it. She was so upset when we had to go inside, so we promised her we would take her back out tomorrow. It looks like this weather is going to stay with us all week.

for about 4 hours we lost power today and it got cold pretty quickly in the house. Big Love was covered with a couple of blankets and was sound asleep, as for Lilly I walked into the kitchen and found her sitting on the floor putting her hat and mittens back on! haha

Chuck E Cheese

A group of us decided to take the kids to Chuck E Cheese on Friday for some play time and pizza. The kids had a blast! Before we left Lilly played with her Valentines day card from Maw Maw, and big love tried on his prince charming onesie:).

I tried to get one photo of the two of them, but Lilly was not having it! It looks like Big Love is saying "uummm wait a minute please...she is pushing me!" haha

Once we got there, Lilly was off! She ran around and checked out a few games...

She and Maggie drove a car....

I took her down to dance while the characters sang, she liked dancing with me, but was not impressed with the big creatures up close hhaa she would not dance by herself haha.

Big Love and one of his girlfriends Hayden hung out in the booth while the other kids tried out all of the games...

Before we left Lilly drove a car with Barney:) she actually was a little scared of him as well.

Tub Art

Even Picasso had to start somewhere right?

When we were at Babies R Us this weekend, also known as my home away from home, we picked up some bathtub crayons. I was not sure exactly how they would work, or if Lilly would eat them as she did the ones she got for Christmas hehe. But they worked great, the only problem is that she didn't want to get out of the tub. Like the obsessed mother that I am, I took a photo of her art to share with you. And a photo of the artist herself.

In the meantime, big love was relaxing in the living room.

Angel Food

Who Me?

First of all I would like to say...who needs a vacuum when you have dogs? Today while I was giving Lilly her lunch I started doing a few dishes when I heard a crash, I looked over and she had spilled most of her lunch on the floor, but have no fear Siggy and Sweet Pea were on the job in no time! :) Notice she is quite proud of herself for playing with her plate.

This afternoon Lilly and I decided to make a cake. If you are ever looking for a good baking project for you and your little one I highly suggest a cake mix of angel food cake! The only ingredient is 1 1/4 cup water, mix and bake. Lilly had a great time though she didn't understand the last step of baking...she wanted to eat it first...

She helped spray the pan...

And made a little music while I did some mixing by making everything in the kitchen her drum and her two spoons were the sticks. :)

Sunday

This Sunday was a lazy day, we ran a few errands and spent sometime around the house with the kids:).

Snow Days!!

Starting Thursday night we have been hit hard with ice and snow and after a full day on Friday of being in the house we decided to get out and try out luck getting over to the Jones household for some good food and let the kids have a ball.

Before we left the house we got the kids ready in their winter weather gear. :) Big Love really liked his winter hat Dzia Dzia sent him.

Once we got over there the kids went nuts! Lilly and Elijah had a blast together...they climbed on Pinckney....

And hit from everyone in the fireplace....

Big Love and Anderson had some floor time together...

In the meantime there were 4 more kids running around haha everyone had a blast. :)

Mickey & Minnie

For Christmas and her birthday Uncle Trevor and Aunt Stephanie sent Lilly these Mickey and Minnie dolls. They are bigger then she is!! haha Today we were playing in her room with the dolls and decided to get a few photos. As you can see when Lilly gets really excited she squints her nose

Big Love even got in on the action... notice Minnie's heals are larger then Big Loves head!

Dear Valentine

It has been awhile since Lilly and I did some painting so we decided to make a few Valentines and get Big Love in on the action.

We had the best time, we ordered a few new songs on itunes and played the music loud and the kids played and Lilly painted. :)

Lilly loves to pet his head! And give him kisses...

I think Big Love is going to like dance parties as much as Lilly does...
