Pumpkin Carving

It makes me laugh every year carving pumpkins with these monkeys! The kids the pumpkins they picked out from the patch that I got the paints out so they could paint them however they wanted...

Then Pick and I got the bigger pumpkins ready to carve...

Bigs DID NOT like the inside of the pumpkin, he hated the way it felt, the way it looked and everything else about it...

But not Lilly, she wanted right in the middle of it! 

I did the best I could to get a picture of the kids and the pumpkins, they were not really helping haha and I really didn't try hard enough haha. 

Ole Miss vs. Ark

Every year the Razorbacks play two games in Little Rock. We were thrilled that this year they played OLE MISS!! We had some fun friends in town to tailgate with and the kids got to see their first Rebel football game! They dressed the part and had a blast. 

The kids and I came out of the game around the 3 quarter so they could have a snack and run around for awhile. Bigs was very upset that he was not allowed to go on the field and play with the team! I was shocked how upset he was! 

Pinckney and Lilly went to go find a snowcone and ran into a few of my friends that were in town, they got to meet Lilly for the first time, here is a pic of Lilly and Ashley! 

When we were in the game it was serious buisness! 

It was pretty cold that day but after a bit Lilly didn't want her hat or coat because it if she had it on you couldn't see her whole cheer leader outfit! haha it all about the outfit peeps

I came across this photo the week of the game from when lilly was one and Bigs was only months old...time flies! but always rebel fans!! 

Pumpkin Patch

Our trip to the pumpkin patch this year was for our friend Olivia's birthday party. There were lots of activites for the kids besides just picking pumpkins and they loved all of it! 

They liked the corn maze...

There was a play pit full of corn so the played in it like a sandbox...

And of course we went through the patch to pick out pumpkins, John picked up several and traded them for others...

There was also a sunflower patch that all the kids ran through...

of course miss sassy britches came out in full force! 

Bigs ran the entire time we were there!!

Halloween Birthday Parties

Hunting season has approached up once again! Which means our deer friends in our back yard will be around more and will need something to eat. So the kids and Pinckney made a couple of new deer feeders for the back yard. They got to use spray paint which they loved, but we learned VERY quickly that Bigs should not hold the can by himself because as soon as he got it he sprayed himself in the face. So daddy helped him spray his side haha. 

We LOVE our neighborhood! There are lots of kids all around the same age and all of the parents are a lot of fun to be around. Two of the kids had birthday parties this month so the families have been together a lot this month and we have enjoyed all of it! Kemp had a halloween carnival at his house for his 5th birthday and Olivia had all the kids to the pumpkin patch for her 6th birthday! They parties were the same weekend so by Sunday night the kids were worn out!!
