This is us before Lilly.

Things are about to change, but here are some photos of our little family over the last year before Miss Lilly gets here. (Can you tell I just figured out how to get photos off of my camera! haha)

This is Pinckney and I on New Years Eve in Oxford, MS ringing in the New Year. Who knew what this year was going to bring.

A few details...

Ok here are the details that you all may want to know. We are having a baby girl! Her name is Lilly Ann Bethell. My great grandmothers name was Lillian and most of the women in my family have the middle name Ann so that is how we came to her name. We have not quite decided if she is going to be called Lilly Ann or just Lilly, we figure when we see her we will know.



Her due date is December 18, this is the day that our Doctor has set to induce labor if she has not made her way already. On October 30th we had to go to the hospital, long story short I was having contractions and they gave me shots to stop all of it. It was pretty terrible, but I am now on bed rest and things are going better. If I get sick I can lay down, or if I start to over due it, I can just stop. It has really helped us!



So our plan now is to pray that she holds off till as closes to December 18th as possible, if not then we will be ready for her early. I go to the Doctor every Monday so I will keep you posted from there.

As for the pregnancy in general, I really can not complain. I can not believe how quickly this time has passed!! We can't wait to see who she looks like now or if she will be a sleeper or screamer! haha



Here nursery is almost done, so as soon as we put some finishing touches on it I will share photos of her room. Until then, I will see what photos I have missed out on posting and add them to this.

Almost there...

Here are Lilly and I at 29 weeks. She is really moving around now, we are 34 weeks now and on bed rest. I am still trying to figure this whole thing out and how to post photos and everything else so I am going to keep this one short but I promise there will be more later. I have PLENTY of time on my hands now so I am hoping to have this up and running before she makes her big arrival.

Baby on Board!

Pinckney, my mom and I went to see Dr. Marks on Tuesday and were able to see another great ultrasound of the baby! The baby was kicking and moving "his" arms. It was amazing to see how small "his" little feet and hands were.

I keep saying "his" because so far every test we have done (except one from a dr. it is too early for that haha) say that this baby is a boy! haha So if it is a boy, he will be the 4th.

I am just learning how to do this whole blog thing but I will try to post a lot and keep everyone updated with photos.

I will be 11 weeks along tomorrow and I beginning to feel good. I am summer vacation, except I am going to school this summer so I think the low stress is really helping the way that I feel.
