We are in trouble! haha

We have really been working on getting some sleep lately! Miss Lilly just has stopped wanting to sleep through the night, so last week she starting sleeping in her crib all night and we really worked on getting her through the night. Well we are really making headway and in the mornings she gets up about 8am and will play in her bed until 9am. Which is PERFECT for me!! We are still getting up at least at 4:30 but that is ok with me since she is staying in bed so late:). 

Anyways, this morning I knew she was in there playing while I was getting ready for the morning, but it was close to 9 and she still had not yelled for me. So I went in to check on her only to find this!!! She was holding on to the side!! haha It is just a matter of time before she is throwing herself out of this bed! haha I guess we will have to drop the mattress. I also thought it was pretty funny that she had wiggled one arm out of her sleeper. I call her Miss Hawaiian Tropic in this outfit! haha

So we went for our 6 month well visit on Monday and turns out Lilly can start eating some solid foods. This morning we had a little banana and a little nectarine. but really the only thing she cares about is GRAHAM CRACKERS!! and man does she love them! As a matter of fact she is really starting to realize that we can eat some of the same foods and today I found her reaching for my plate! ahha Give it time Lil ahah.

June 16th was Pinckney's 30th Birthday!! Here are a few photos of Lilly and her daddy celebrating his birthday. We got him a Green Egg grill for the big day and Lilly fits perfectly in it!! haha 

  

THE Look :)

My mom was in town this week to help me start getting my house in order to welcome baby #2 into our home. We had SO much cleaning out to do, and we discovered space bags! Anyone that has never used one of these space bags before....YOU MUST!! We were space bagged everything, clothes that Lilly has grown out of, blankets, all of my non-maternity clothes and anything else that we were not using right now but not going to give away...really you must try these! 

Anyways, we took a break on Thursday to go have lunch and of course got Lilly all dressed up to go and had to take her picture in her little bubble outfit and I happened to catch this face hahah we like to call it, her "look."  HAHA it makes me laugh everytime I look at it! 

A Day at the lake

We spent Saturday afternoon on Papa Ricks boat in Heber. Lilly loved being on the water, but I forgot my camera so we are waiting for daddy to email all of the photos off of his phone haha. But here is one of many!! haha

Yesterday while Lilly was sleeping I decided I would like to take a little nap. So I tip toed into her room to turn her monitor on so I could hear her when she woke up only to find this..... she was playing in her bed!!! hahah no nap-time for mommy! 

  I wanted to show you, it wont be long before Miss Lilly is crawling everywhere. She is so close and did I mention that she already has 2 teeth!! haha what a month! 

Making Jam

   

So Lilly and I wanted to try something new yesterday so we decided to make raspberry jam:). As you can see Lilly REALLY wanted to taste test it, but since Daddy is our taste tester we have to wait for him to get back into town before anyone else eats it. haha

Backyard fun

    

When Lilly got up from her nap today we went to the backyard for a little poolside fun HA! We picked up this pool at Walmart today and it is actually pretty big ahha. She was very interested in the water but was not so sure about that sun! hahha This is her first time in a bathing suit....too cute! haha 

  

The Baptism

  

Father Dave did such a great job baptising the girls and we were so thrilled that so many friends and family could make it! It was such a great day. Here are a few picks of Lilly with her Godparents and one of her a Sunny Italy...she had such a big day she could not even say awake for her own party:). Thank you everyone for coming!

Lilly and Emma had a great time meeting each other, and Grace did a great job keeping them in line. :) Lilly and Emma practiced their sky diving skills together and were talking back and fourth it was pretty funny to watch. :) I could not believe how much Emma and Lilly look alike!
