boops, homa homa and hair cuts

Pinckney found some cowboy boots for Bigs when he was in Homa Homa, as lilly calls it. He loves them! Every morning he says "boops boops" I am a little worried he is going to want to start dressing himself as well. If he does people are REALLY going to start talking when they see us in public! haha
Friday afternoon the kids and i went to get haircuts. It was a bit of a shock to see Bigs hair but it was needed! Maybe we will avoid another black eye! While I was getting my hair cut they finished with Lilly, so she came over to where I was said "oh mommy isn't it gorgeous?!" I swear she sometime is way to old for 2!! haha

Saturday morning was another donut kind of morning! Pinckney got up early and went out and got the kids (as if we didn't eat any:) ) donuts for when they got up.
Just a little bed head:)
Bigs favorite is the kind that look like a football.

Lilly's Lookbook

I didn't get the whole outfit in this picture, she had one a orange tie die skirt with shorts under the dress and over the leggings.
She was showing off her dance class outfit with a few moves. :)
This is my FAVORITE outfit! Jeggings and boots, can't beat it!
I was excited that she put this dress on, but those pants don't really match haha.

This outfit make me laugh to look at because two people stopped us to say they liked her outfit, and they were serious. Clearly they didn't realize she as wearing a dress, pants and...
yep another skirt!! Not to mention it was 49 degree out!
She was very proud with this one!

Besties

Last night the kids FINALLY had their sugar crash. We were watching Mickey Mouse and before I knew it they were snuggled together on the floor.
The kids have started getting their lists together for Santa. On Sunday we went to Lowe's and while Pinckney was getting what he needed the kids and I were playing in the Christmas section when a man that works at Lowes came into the same area. Lilly and I thought he looked a lot like Santa, then the man yelled "whose that playing with my toys?" And we KNEW it was Santa undercover! He asked the kids if they wanted a puppy for Christmas (thanks Santa) and showed them his drivers license that had his real photo and name, it said that he was the Santa Claus!
So last night the kids went through the new toy catalogs picking out all the things they would like to ask Santa for. And for the first time I remembered all the words and was able to use them to my advantage of the song "you better not shout, you better not pout, you better not cry I'm telling you why..." I have a feeling the kids are going to hear that song A LOT! haha
This afternoon they colored and painted a couple of pictures to put with their wish lists :).
(And yes Lilly is still wearing her Sleeping Beauty costume.)
It didn't take long for Bigs to color on his own face...

Lilly's Lookbook

Here is another outfit styled by the princess herself!
I love that she looks 17 yet there is a child's carseat behind her she is about to get in HA!

Halloween 2011

The kids had a great time this year. Lilly was so excited all day that every 20 minutes she would ask "is it time for Rhett's party yet? do I need my sleeping beauty costume now?" and FINALLY it was time to go trick or treating and put on her costume! haha Bigs was not so sure about his costume until he saw himself in the mirror, then it was on! He chased sweet through the yard, barked at his sister and kept his costume on all night. He was very happy to be a puppy! haha As for the princess, she is still wearing her costume. I was able to get her to take it off (except the shoes) to go to walmart this morning, but I made them lunch and let them sit in the playroom to eat and when I walked in to check on them she had the whole costume including the crown on to eat. haha

While the kids were running around the front yard and we were taking pictures I noticed Bigs was suddenly very still.
I quickly realized it was because he had a flower stuck up his nose!
As soon as we got the flower out of his nose the dog was off! haha
Their eyes are so blue!!
When I was getting Bigs ready I heard Lilly look at herself in the mirror and say "oh gosh I am so pretty!" haha

I think it is pretty clear who they get their blue eyes from!

All the kids piled in a Ranger and a trailer full of hay to go from house to house. It was really cold out but once they started running from to the houses the coats came off!

We had a great time with both kids able to trick or treat. At one house Bigs and I were done before Lilly and Pinckney so we headed to the next house, after Lilly got her candy he couldn't get her to leave the house. Not because she wanted more candy, they were playing thriller music outside and she wanted to stay and dance! haha

I think my favorite part of his costume was the tail! haha
