Jack-O-Lantern 1

With Halloween just around the corner we decided it was time to start carving our pumpkins. We didn't have time to do all 3 pumpkins so Lilly choose her first pumpkin and we began getting it ready.
In true Lilly form, everything goes in her mouth first...
After getting the top off it took some convincing to get her to put her hand in it!

Here is our pumpkin when we were finished:) we think it is the happiest pumpkin ever! haha

Lilly and Pinckney practiced her walking, while I cleaned up our mess.

Cold Weather

Every morning Lilly and I go for a walk. Lately it has really been cold here in Arkansas! It has been getting down in the 40's at night so when we get up and go for our walk it is sometime still really cold. This morning we went for our walk and Lilly had to get a little bundled up:).
Have I mentioned how much I love this had and mittens!?! haha

Bathing Beauty

Lilly LOVES the bath!! She races from one side to the next and laughs from the time she gets in until the time she comes out. It is a great way to end our days:). Daddy gave her a bath last night so I was able to snap this photo of her and her bubbles.

Weekend Whoas

Saturday:
All week we were looking forward to going to Piper's birthday party at a cute place here call pigtails and crewcuts. They paint the girls nails, dress them up like princess, sing karaoke and they walk a red carpet and take their picture ... really every little girls dream. haha So Saturday morning we woke up and played for a while, Lilly took her nap and when she got up we had lunch and got dressed for the big party. Before we could leave we took pictures and got all of our stuff together.

So with Lilly, our diaper bag, a birthday gift, my purse and drink (I am constantly thirsty) in hand we locked the door and headed out. WAIT what is missing from all of those things in my hands....KEYS! As soon as I closed the door I KNEW the keys were hanging right inside the door, Pinckney was 3 hours away - with no house key himself so we were stuck.
My neighbor happen to be walking by at the same time and thought we were about to go for a walk so she stopped to see if we wanted company when I told her were locked out. So the two of us tried every window in the house - ALL locked! I called onstar to unlock my car to open the garage door to see of that door was open...nope locked!
I called Pinckney to see if anyone has a key to the house - nope, stuck again. So I called to let Casey know we would not be making Pipers party:(. Now we needed in the house.
So I had to call a locksmith - when I called I asked how much it was going to be, the man on the phone said it was $39 for the call then it starts at $15 to unlock the door. I didn't want to spend the money but I figured it could not be more then $60 and it was cold outside and I wanted in the house.
The man arrives about an hour later and I believe saw a pregnant woman outside with a baby and knew he had me. So he came up to the house started what he needed to do, then had me sign the sheet that said it was going to be $39 for the call and $110 to open the door!!!!! WHAT?!?! I said that man on the phone said it would only be probably $20 since all you have to do is pick the lock. He told all prices vary WHAT?! So I was stuck....
$149 later and no party, Caroline and I decided we needed to take Lilly's photo by the pumpkins. This is our princess photo for the day. Still pretty cute:).

Sunday:

We were determined to make Sunday a better day. Pinckney's sister is currently pregnant with baby 3 & 4 yep twins:) YEAH! Some of her friends were having a baby shower for her on Sunday so we tried it again. This time Pinckney was home when we left so if we closed the door there was someone on the the other side to open - and he was able to carry somethings out to the car instead of just me. So we got dressed up and we made it to the shower! YEAH for us and when we got home we were able to get back into the house! YEAH FOR US! haha
Lilly and I had a great time - so many babies on the way we can't wait to meet them all!!!

TADA!

Every now and again I get a photo of that just makes me laugh. This is one of them - it just looks like she has jazz hands TADA!!

MA MA MA

Finally the word I have been waiting to hear... haha After how ever many weeks of Lilly only saying Da Da this morning she just starting saying Ma Ma Ma over and over again:). I am nervous of what is going to come out of her mouth next - she is a motor mouth so I wonder what will be:).

Pumpkin Patch!!

I have been excited about the Pumpkin patch for months! We were finally able to go on Saturday morning and I am not sure which one of us had a better time haha we all had a blast! It was about 50 degrees that morning so we were all bundled up and I have to say that Miss Lilly makes quite a nice statement with her winter hat:).

There were all kinds of activities for us to do. Lilly and Daddy watched the pony rides for a while.
Then we found this scarecrow...can you find Lilly haha
And there were all kinds of animals - Daddy and I LOVED this pig! And it loved to drink Milk!
Next we got to go on a hayride out to the pumpkin patch, it was SO fun!
Once we got out to the patch we picked 3 perfect pumpkins!!
After we got back from picking our pumpkins I found this whole pile of pumpkins!

We had so much fun picking out our pumpkins we might be kind of sad to carve them:).

Work in Progress...

We have really begun tackling John's room and I thought I would share our work in progress. We still have odds and ends to get, some art on the wall and a curtain. But we have made a lot of progress from where we were a month ago!

OH BOY!

We have really begun putting John's room together and I think Lilly is starting to understand that this is another baby's room.

At first she had to really think about this and decide if she was ready for another baby in her house....
After realizing that this is going to double her toy supply she decided...YEAH BABY!
And she is enjoying having a perfect seat on her Mommy...

OH BOY! There is no denying it, there is a baby coming to this house!
