Lilly and I have had a stay at home Saturday, we have just played in her room and watched a little tv. I was in the kitchen starting dinner when I didn't hear any toys going off or her singing and thought I better check and see what she has gotten into now....this is where I found her, watching Handy Manny. I think we have created a monster. HA!

Getting ready for brother
All things piggy
Pipes look good
Yesterday morning Lilly and I spent the morning cleaning. While I cleaned up, I guess Lilly thought it was time to clean out and make sure all the pipes are working correctly. :) HA!
Santa Claus is coming to town...
Last Saturday we had our Krispy Kreme date with Marianna and the girls, after our donuts we went to do a little early christmas shopping at Target. Maggie and Lilly put on some Santa hats and began making their list for Santa.

A Wonderful Surprise!
We have been VERY blessed to make some great friends through our play group, they have really helped keep sanity in our lives over the past few months and I am positive will be a god send in about a month with baby #2! haha

This is Hayden she was just hanging out enjoying herself. :)

Well today we had play group at Marianna's house and when we got there they had planned a surprise baby shower for us!!! I can not tell you how surprised we were and how thankful.
We had great food, which we all know is Lilly and I's favorite part:).
The kids played...
Then we got to play haha we dressed the kids up in their halloween costumes and took their picture:). As you can see I of course walked out the door without Lilly's bumblebee costume. My brain doesn't work haha and I am sure wont for a few years....sorry kids!
This is my favorite costume, him name is Nolan and he is Joe Paterno (I know I spelled that wrong so I am very sorry all of my Penn State friends) but please notice his tie! He had glasses to wear as well but he didn't have them on for the photo.
After all of this fun they showered baby John with the nicest presents. Like I said before we are so blessed and thankful to have all of you!!
Can you believe our baby boy will be here in a little over a month?! Man how time flies!
Welcome Jones Twins!
When we got home that afternoon, we got a call saying that Elizabeth was in labor with the twins and they would be here by the evening. So we let Lilly take a good nap and we headed up to the hospital.
Anderson Bethell Jones weighed 4lb 14 oz and was 19 inches long and Anna Lee Jones weighed 4lbs 8oz and was 17 inches long. Babies are doing great and are eating and breathing on their own, so they will be able to go home with mom and dad probably Monday. Elizabeth had a bit of a rough night but is doing well today.
We are not able to go back up there just yet because Lilly has been sick and we don't want her around the twins but when I am able to go and get better photos of the twins I will. :).
H1N1
Yesterday was a long day! But thank god for friends! In our area they were hold a few flu clinics yesterday that pregnant women and children could receive the H1N1 vaccine, and everyone could receive the seasonal flu vaccine. So Pinckney and I brought Lilly and we met up with Marianna, Jill and Chandra and apparently the rest the Little Rock because we stood in line for about 4 hours!

When we first got there we thought we could do the "drive-thru" shot. So we first sat in line in the car waiting and Lilly had breakfast and watch a little mickey mouse. This wasn't going to be so bad we thought...then we found out that children had to go inside. So we drove around to the line to joined these people....in the rain.
After a couple of hours of standing outside we finally made it inside. And the kids were all acting so good we could not have asked for them to have acted any better.
We did find some ways to pass the time...
yes this is a face mask that Pinckney is giving Lilly to play with. HA!
Having our friends to stand in line with made all the difference in the world the time really seemed to pass. And when we got up to the front of the line I wish I would have had a camera for that! Here were all these kids not knowing why they were standing in line only to get to the front and hear other kids screaming behind a curtain, then one by one they would realize what was going on and you would see fear! haha Lilly was sound asleep in the stroller so she had no idea why we were waking her up and taking her clothes off. :( She found out quickly and was NOT happy about it! So we went to the purple cow and she got to order off the menu for the first time:).
By the way, all of the adults decided to wait to get back to town to get our flu shots so we didn't have to find another line to stand in etc so we just got all of the kids their shots. Only to get back to town and there are no more flu shots available! I have a feeling this is what government run health care would be like and I really want no part of it! haha

New Toys
There are a lot of times I wonder why we buy toys when we have boxes, paper, and our newest favorite kitchen goods! haha Lilly has had move fun today with the tupperware in our cabinets and the salad bowls and a couple of toys. It was perfect for me because I was able to get some baking done while she just played right next to me.

She even tried to get Sweet Pea in on the action.
