John is 2!!

We woke up on John's birthday to a gift from Mother Nature. We had a couple inches of snow!
After the kids played in the snow we head to krispy kreme to celebrate with Donuts for breakfast. :)
After the sugar rush we headed home to Skype and open a gift from Mi Mi.
Then a sugar crash...
That night we had pizza, cake and lots of presents! It was so fun to watch John open his gifts. I have a feeling christmas morning is going to last all day. He took his time with each gift, he wanted it set up, play with it and then would open another.
John blew out his candle probably 8 times because everytime we would light it he would blow it out, before the song, before the picture or one time before I could even put the lighter down! haha The then kids started to stick their finger in the icing.

St. Nick 2011

This year Santa sent the kids each an email. As you can see by the pictures of them watching the email, they LOVED watching it!
We finally finished putting our christmas decorations up! and I am not sure who is enjoying them more, us or the kids :)
St. Nick brought the kids christmas pj's, books, aprons and candy. It was great!

Christmas Card

The kids and I have been trying for a couple of days to get a good picture for the christmas card. This morning I finally got a couple of the two of them together. But I thought I would share some of the ones that didn't work:).

The Tree is Up!

It has taken us a week to get the decorations up but we are almost done! The tree is done and the kids had a great time putting ornaments on it. They love looking at the lights and everytime we turn the lights off Lilly thinks the tree is broken:). She thinks it is only a christmas tree if the lights are on. haha
We say this every year but we think this is the prettiest tree we have ever had;).

December 1, 2011

As I found myself beginning to have a bit of the Grinch in me this morning I came across these pictures. It hit me like a ton of bricks how lucky I am, and what precious gifts I have been given in the past few Christmas seasons. It is so hard to believe that in 7 days John will be 2 and in 18 Lilly will be 3.

Thanksgiving 2011

I think this sums us up! Lilly playing peek a boo, Bigs with no shoes, Sweets look for food, me praying that everyone is looking where I am for a good picture, and Pick thinking Lilly is so funny...yep this sums us up! haha
We spent Thanksgiving this year in Birmingham at MiMi and Dzia Dzia's house. We were so thankful that Uncle Trevor and Uncle Thaddeus and their whole families were there with us. We got to play with Emersen, Addison, Auntie Steph and Auntie Linda. A great time was had by all!!
I made the kids matching outfits. Bigs is Roudolph but he was not in the mood to be pictured so we didn't push it. With 4 kids under the age of 4 we took what we could get. Although I am pretty sure Emersen's daddy has trained her with a camera:).
Here are a few pictures before Thanksgiving Dinner.
Bigs would only stand there is he had a treat. In this picture it is a banana! haha
