Happy 9th Birthday...

SWEET PEA TURNED 9!!
The kids and I decided that Sweet Pea deserved a party for her 9th birthday. So we made hats...
We got everyone at the table for a treat...

We sang happy birthday to the birthday girl...

I am not sure she was having as much fun as we were! haha
But Rally LOVED his hat and didn't mind us messing with him a bit haha
Sweet Pea couldn't stand it anymore and with kids on either side of her she didn't see any other way out but over the top!

Hotty Toddy!

It is that time of year again!! Fall Football! This year we have season tickets to see the Rebels play, we don't think they will be very good but to be in oxford for football season is our happy place! And I am thrilled that the kids get to see it and grow up knowing it! Hurricane Issac has throw a wrench in our plans for this weekend so we wont be able to head to Oxford in the morning as planned, but today is wear your team colors day so the kids did just that!

 Yeah girl!

 "I run fast mommy!"

Looks like he has perfect form to me!
 Rebel fanny!

Back in the swing

I can honestly say I am glad to have July and August behind us. They have been two long months! Between sickness, hospital visits, heat, and everything breaking we are ready to get back into the swing of things. We have been stuck close to the house a lot of the month we made the best of it with chalk, grilling and teaching the kids how to drive their Lightening McQueen.

Thursday I went back to work and the kids were finally able to go back to mothers day out! This starts a new school year so we thought it was a good day for a few pics before we left the house.

Lilly really wanted this picture of her sitting on the floor with piggy.
He doesn't go far without his fishing pole! Looks like he caught some lunch. :)

First Day of Dance 2012

Wednesday was Lilly's first day back to dance and as usual she was SO excited! She wanted to wear these pearls (they are fake) to dance class. I believe I am raising a true southern belle! At Ole Miss we use to laugh at all the girls that wore pearls with their t-shirts...well it looks like my little girl will be one of those girls! haha

This pictures breaks my heart, I can't believe how big she looks!
She has a new dance bag for the year with her name on it!

Bigs has moved into a big boy bed (will have a full post on that in a bit but I want to finish his room first) and since we took his crib down, sleeping has been a challenge! So I was not that surprised to find him here on the floor of the playroom when it was time for dance class!
We tried everything we could to wake him up, but even after we put shoes on him and moved him to the car he didn't wake up until we got to dance class!

beach

I have a ton of pictures from the beach that I want to share and have been waiting for me right here to post. I just haven't had the time to sit down and write much about them. Things have been super crazy around here for the last month so I haven't taken many pictures and haven't had much time to blog.
We had a great time in Ono Island this summer. We were sad to not have Pinckney on the trip with us, but he was needed at home to take care of his dad while he has been sick.
The kids spent all day playing with their cousins and the adults spent the days playing their cousins as well :). The pictures are out of order, but we attempted one night for a red, white and blue photo of all the kids. We did the best with what we had. Have all the kids looking and happy and in the shot at one time is like herding cats - they weren't really into it. haha Another night we had family pictures which I didn't realize until looking at the pictures how much I now resemble Ronald McDonald. I had no idea my hair was that red! but the kids looked cute so that is all the matters. ;)

I LOVE THIS!

We had a luau for Maw Maw's birthday party, the kids LOVED the decorations and we all had fun together as usual.

The kids did so good on all of the drives. It was just me and them so it could have been a LONG trip, but they behaved really well and watched movies and sang songs most of the way. I felt extremely lucky!

The kids were attached at the hip to MiMi and Dzia Dzia, they definitely preferred their company to mine. haha

The kids and I slept together every night, which really involved more kicking, moving and giggling rather then sleeping.

Everyone except maw maw, mimi and I went to see the blue angels one morning. The kids LOVED it! They have been playing with their airplanes since they got home.
At night after the kids ate dinner, they would play while we ate our dinner. We got a kick out of how much they all loved and knew how to use the ipads!

This is another one of my favorite pictures from the trip. If you can see what Bigs is holding, this is the "big fish" he caught with Dzia Dzia. Also known as a minnow out of the bucket. haha he would use a net and catch a minnow and was so proud because he "caught a fish!"

This parrot is from the luau, Amy and I were joking before the trip about this parrot and it turns out Lilly loved it as much as we thought she would!
The kids did really well playing together. There were enough of them that they didn't get sick of each other, and if they started to get fussy we could put them in the pool hahah.
And of course princess piggy made the trip to the beach. She had a great time as well.
