I have a ton of pictures from the beach that I want to share and have been waiting for me right here to post. I just haven't had the time to sit down and write much about them. Things have been super crazy around here for the last month so I haven't taken many pictures and haven't had much time to blog.
We had a great time in Ono Island this summer. We were sad to not have Pinckney on the trip with us, but he was needed at home to take care of his dad while he has been sick.
The kids spent all day playing with their cousins and the adults spent the days playing their cousins as well :). The pictures are out of order, but we attempted one night for a red, white and blue photo of all the kids. We did the best with what we had. Have all the kids looking and happy and in the shot at one time is like herding cats - they weren't really into it. haha Another night we had family pictures which I didn't realize until looking at the pictures how much I now resemble Ronald McDonald. I had no idea my hair was that red! but the kids looked cute so that is all the matters. ;)
I LOVE THIS!
We had a luau for Maw Maw's birthday party, the kids LOVED the decorations and we all had fun together as usual.
The kids did so good on all of the drives. It was just me and them so it could have been a LONG trip, but they behaved really well and watched movies and sang songs most of the way. I felt extremely lucky!
The kids were attached at the hip to MiMi and Dzia Dzia, they definitely preferred their company to mine. haha
The kids and I slept together every night, which really involved more kicking, moving and giggling rather then sleeping.
Everyone except maw maw, mimi and I went to see the blue angels one morning. The kids LOVED it! They have been playing with their airplanes since they got home.
At night after the kids ate dinner, they would play while we ate our dinner. We got a kick out of how much they all loved and knew how to use the ipads!
This is another one of my favorite pictures from the trip. If you can see what Bigs is holding, this is the "big fish" he caught with Dzia Dzia. Also known as a minnow out of the bucket. haha he would use a net and catch a minnow and was so proud because he "caught a fish!"
This parrot is from the luau, Amy and I were joking before the trip about this parrot and it turns out Lilly loved it as much as we thought she would!
The kids did really well playing together. There were enough of them that they didn't get sick of each other, and if they started to get fussy we could put them in the pool hahah.
And of course princess piggy made the trip to the beach. She had a great time as well.
