Dear Santa,

After the dance recital the kids, Mimi, Dzia Dzia and I headed over to the mall while daddy went out to the farm to catch another morning of hunting. We got there around 4 and thought we would say a quick hello to santa then head home. Around 7 the kids finally sat on Santas lap! It was NUTS! After about 45 mins of standing in line it was time for santa to go to dinner. So we had to wait until dinner was over. So Dzia Dzia and I took the kids to build a bear while MiMi kept our place in line. They LOVED build a bear! Lilly made a pink bear and named her "Snowflake Hello Kitty," and Bigs made a grinch and named him "Grinch shoes." I can honestly say I don't ever worry about their imagination!
when it was finally time for the kids to see him they were so tired! I thought for sure Bigs was going to scream and fight the whole time as he was doing while we were in line. To my huge surprise he walked up hopped on his lap and smiled big! haha the only melt down was when we had to walk away and he didn't understand why santa was giving him his airplane right then haha.

Christmas Rockstars

Lilly always poses when we take pictures and usually Bigs either runs from the camera or stands there and smiles. All of the sudden he has started poses too! I just wanted to get a picture of them in their christmas pj's and this happened...

These red boots are worn with almost every outfit!
She also got her first pair of leg warmers this fall!!

The Christmas Wiseman

This year at church Pick was asked to be apart of the live nativity. He made a great wiseman and the kids loved seeing him as their sunday school class came to hear the story of christmas.

Hunting season...

Hunting season is upon us again! This year the lodge at the farm is done so the kids and I have spent more time out there this year then we have in the past. One weekend we went and spent the night and Pick wanted to take the kids into the deer stand with him, so we all bundled up and headed out...
Bigs did better then I thought, he did pretty good about staying quiet, he was really excited to be out there and really wanted to see deer. He doesn't understand what happens if he sees the deer ahha.

As for lovebug, she loved being up there with daddy, but she is totally herself (expect that she let me put pants on her, usually there would be NO pants or at least a skirt over them haha) as you can see by this picture she has her purse, a littlest pet shop and found a chair to sit in rather then floor. haha that's my girl!

the kids love being out at the farm, but they also love stopping for dinner the next day ahha Bigs LOVES his cheese dip!

Happy Birthday Lovebug!!

The month of December is constant celebrating! so much that January is a real let down and the kids really need to be deprogrammed! haha but we allowed the party to continue and we rolled into Lilly's birthday!
Over the weekend we celebrated with Mimi and Dzia Dzia, then on the night of her birthday we had dinner with Pa Paw and opened MORE presents and had MORE cake and candles haha.
Lilly is such a big girl it is crazy to me. I remember so clearly the day we found out we were pregnant and the day she was born. I can't believe how quickly 4 years has flown by.
She is so smart! She loves to read, princesses, dressing up, changing clothes, swimming, playing with friends and telling jokes. The other day at mothers day out her teacher came to tell me that she was making the whole class crack up with all of her jokes. She never misses a chance to preform! haha She loves to sing and make up songs. she is such a wonderful sister to big and takes care of him whenever we are not around. She is a bit of a drama queen but in time I think that will work to her advantage haha. She is still a total daddy's girl but she has been asking a lot lately if I will take her to get a "make over," which makes me laugh. She thinks a make over is getting your hair and nails done, so I think for Valentines we may have a girls day and go gets a couple of make overs haha.
She loves build a bear, american girl dolls, carebears and still mickey and minnie. She is a great artist and loves to help with whatever is going on.
She is a precious gift that we are so thankful for everyday!

Christmas Dance recital

Once again our baby girl was a star! She loves dancing so much and it is so fun to watch her! She doesn't mind one bit being on stage and looks forward to each performance. This year she is in a new class and is the youngest in the class, she still did great. They danced to "Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas."

MiMi and Dzia Dzia came to visit the weekend of her recital to celebrate the kids birthdays and to see the performance.
Bigs of course was so proud of sissy!
They both looked so cute!

our princess is getting so big!!
